Website privacy
About this website
This is the coming-soon website for Freehold Standalone, published by Moguls, Inc. It does not provide the Freehold application, a hosted Estate, an account, a purchase, or a purchase contract.
Data and choices
Joining the invitation list is optional. The story, charter, stewardship and Soundings demonstrations run in your browser. Do not enter confidential or personal information in a demonstration. Soundings exports are files you choose to save on your own device.
Your motion preference is stored in your browser as fh-motion. It is not sent to us. Clear this website’s browser data to remove it. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, third-party fonts or visitor analytics on this website.
One release email, with your consent
If you submit the invitation form and tick its unchecked consent box, Moguls, Inc. stores your email address, optional computer system, signup time and this consent version: freehold-website-2026-10-19-v1. We use these only to send one Freehold Standalone release notification with its price and requirements. We send no confirmation email now, add you to no general marketing list and do not sell this information. We may use a contracted email delivery provider solely to deliver that future notification; its details will be disclosed before sending.
Invitation records are encrypted in AWS storage in the United States. Access is restricted to the invitation service and authorized administrators. Repeating a request does not extend its retention. Consent and eligibility expire after 365 days, or sooner if you withdraw. Records are scheduled for deletion within one hour after expiry; AWS also applies automatic expiry as a fallback. After the one release notification, records will be deleted within 30 days. We do not retain invitation-table backups. Any administrative export stays in restricted, encrypted AWS storage, expires after 24 hours and is scheduled for removal within a further hour; deleting an invitation also removes these exports.
To withdraw consent, request access or correction, or request deletion, email legal@getcuttlefish.app from the address you used. We may need to verify your request. Withdrawing is as easy as joining and prevents the release email. Deletion removes the active invitation record. Correspondence you send to that mailbox is handled separately by the company’s email service. Depending on your location, you may also have portability, restriction, objection and complaint rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Abuse prevention
For invitation submissions, AWS processes your network address. The service stores a short-lived hourly hash of it and request counts to limit abuse, along with a global request count. These records expire within two hours and are scheduled for removal within a further hour. We use a hidden form field to detect automated submissions. We do not store your raw network address or invitation address in application logs. Operational logs contain request identifiers and aggregate counters, are access restricted and expire after seven days. No invitation addresses appear in public logs or responses.
Hosting
Amazon Web Services delivers this website through CloudFront and encrypted private S3 storage. AWS processes network information such as your IP address to deliver and protect requests. We use aggregate request and error metrics, with visitor access logging disabled for this site. Cloudflare provides DNS for approved custom domains. These providers process information under their own service and privacy terms.
Contact and scope
Questions about this site or privacy may be sent to legal@getcuttlefish.app. An email you choose to send is handled through the company’s email service; do not include sensitive information. This notice covers this website only. Separate Freehold Standalone privacy, license, support and purchase terms will be published before those services become available.
